La Garita is the beach at Arrieta, the beach has fine golden sand, usually has quite calm sea but can be windy.

There are restaurants on the beach, plenty of parking and a children’s play area.
If one walks into Arrieta there are a few restaurants serving typical Spanish food. The cost of the meals here are far less than in the resorts.
