Papagao

Papagayo is part of the national park, access to these beaches are by car on a dirt track, somewhat bumpy road.
There is a small charge to enter the national park by car.
Papagayo can also be reached by water taxi from Playa Blanca.

These beaches are quite a distance from the tourist resorts.
There is very little in the way of services here so be well prepared for your time spent there.
There is also a purpose built camp site which the locals use at certain times of the year.
There are several beaches here, some of the coves are well protected from the winds.
Some of these beaches are used by naturists, however anyone can use them, it is your choice whether you join the naturists or not.
